And in your mind, you perfected him.
Always wanting what you cannot have, Dearie. Isn’t that kind of sad?
You fancied yourself in love before. Do you even know what love is?You probably haven’t felt it yet.You write about love and yet you haven’t really experienced it.You talk about love like you are such an expert in such matters but you are not…You’re a fraud!
You’re an impostor!
Do you want to know what I think?
I think you just crave love.
You want love, but not his love.
No, you are not in love with him.
You are in love with “this person” who you think can care for you, love you, and even adore you.
You are in love with “this person” who can see beauty in anything—an artist’s eyes.
You are in love with “this person” who can toy with words and writes pretty verses that can make your heart skip a beat and your knees weak—a writer.
You are in love with “this person” who can give you unconditional love.
And “this person” can be anyone.
It can be him.
And you can also be in love with many others who are like him.
He is just one of them.
You are not in love with him. You are in love with anyone who can love you.
But here’s one thing you might not know. There is another side of him that not a lot of people could see, especially not by you.
He isn’t perfect. He is far more devious than you could ever imagine.
He has done so much wrong that goes way back from his past.
Would you be able to accept his flaws? Would you be able to accept him for who he really is?
His whole being is not made out of beauty that you fashioned himself in your mind to be.
Would you be able to face that?
Or would you just succumb to the idea that he fits all your expectations, all your make-believes, when in fact he really doesn’t?
Would you love him, as much as you would love the Mr. Right you envisioned him to be? Probably not.
You will be blinded because you wanted to be. You only see what you wanted to see. I am sure that 99% percent of you won’t and that 1% will soon give up trying to truly love every part of him.
You re in love with a part of him, but not all of him.
No, you are not in love with him.
You are only in love with the idea of him.
All you see is this one perfect part and that one part only. And you will try to use the Mr. Right you created in your mind to compensate with the pain and suffering Mr. Left will put you through.
That won’t be enough though.
Eventually you will get sick and tired of it because all you want is to be loved.
You just think you’re in love with him, but really you’re just in love with the idea of love and being loved.
You love him out of loneliness.
And that’s not real love at all.
